Kit Assembly Manual

Our wooden kayak kits include an 108 page step-by-step instruction manual. Review our manual layout and table of contents.

Manual Layout
Our assembly manual is designed to guide you through the kit building process even if you are not familiar with wood working tools or boat terms. We've designed the manual for quick reference and as a "working document."

Lay-flat binding, the manual is spiral bound large format 8 1/2" x 11" designed to allow you to lay the manual flat on your work bench for easy reference without it closing up and having to constantly thumb through pages to find information.

Section call outs, at the beginning of each section list the tools and materials needed to complete the section. This helps you avoid frustration beginning a process only to find that you do not have the right tool or materials to complete the section.

Each section call out covers the definitions of terms used in the section. Everything from "bow" and "stern" to "keel line" and "coaming recess."

Step-by-step photographs, allow you to follow the construction process visually to aid in kit assembly.
